Even though there is a new communication tool around almost every week, the number of worldwide email users grows every year and is going to top 3.7 billion in 2017. It corresponds to approximately half of the worldwide population.
Mailhandler module for Drupal 8 allows you to create Drupal content within any email client. It provides default support for PGP-signed emails and guarantees 3 main principles: authentication, integrity and non-repudiation.
Besides the content (node) creation, Mailhandler enables you to post comments via email as well. This feature perfectly fits the case of an email reply to comment notification.
The module was developed during Google Summer of Code 2016 program as one of the 11 selected student Drupal projects.
The presentation will describe the architecture of Mailhandler and Inmail modules, explain the identified use cases, show the current features via demo and reveal the future ideas.
